These steps provide a detailed guide for changing batteries in the drum and cymbal triggers.
For Snare Drum and Toms:

Access the Battery Compartment
- Remove the rim/hoop and mesh (batter) head(s) from the drum.
- Locate the battery compartment door on the center trigger box. It's held shut with a single "Phillips" (cross point) screw. Use a short screwdriver if needed.

Replace Batteries
- Remove the battery door screw, open the compartment, and take out the old batteries. Note the position and direction of the batteries.
- Insert two (2) new AA alkaline batteries according to the direction indicated on the trigger box.
- Do not use rechargeable or lithium batteries.
- Ensure the batteries are fully inserted, and the battery door closes completely.

Secure the Compartment
- Place the battery door back in position and secure it with the screw. Be cautious not to over-tighten.

Test the Trigger
- Gently tap on the center foam stack. A blue LED flash should indicate proper functionality.

Reassemble Drum
- Place the mesh head and rim/hoop, and tension them properly.
For Bass Drum:

Access the Battery Compartment
1. Place the bass drum on the floor with the mesh batter head facing up.
2. Remove the mesh batter head and wood hoop. Also, remove the large foam piece around the trigger box, noting its position. -
Repeat Steps 2-4
1. Follow the same process as for snare drum and toms to replace batteries. -
Reassemble Bass Drum
1. Put the large foam piece back inside before placing the head, hoop, and tensioning.
For Cymbals:

Access the Battery Compartments
1. Turn the cymbal upside down.
2. Remove the screws on each of the "plus" shaped battery compartment covers. Each cymbal has two compartments. -
Replace Batteries
1. Remove old batteries and insert new ones according to the direction indicated in the battery compartment. -
Secure the Compartments
1. Replace the battery compartment covers and secure them with the screws.
