By checking these points, you should be able to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem of the DrumLink Hub not being recognized by DWe Control.
-
Direct USB Connection:
Connect the DrumLink Hub directly to a USB port on your computer rather than using a standard USB hub. This can help ensure a more reliable and direct connection.
*Please do not use a USB cable that is designed only for charging a device. Charge-only cables cannot transmit data.
-
Ensure Proper USB-C Connection:
Confirm that both ends of the USB-C cable are fully inserted, both in the DrumLink Hub and the computer. If you're using a USB-C cable with a USB-A adapter, ensure that the adapter is securely connected to the cable.
-
Launch DWe Control Before Connection:
Launch the DWe Control software on your computer. Then, connect the DrumLink Hub to the computer via USB. The interface may initially show a message like 'NO HUB FOUND' until the DrumLink Hub is connected. Observe the Blue and Red LEDs on the DrumLink Hub; First, Blue LED blinks multiple times, and then the Blue and Red LEDs remain lit solid.
-
Check Interface Changes:
Once the DrumLink Hub is connected, you should see the DWe Control Trigger Interface change, showing three buttons (HUB, PAIR, POWER) on the upper left side of the app.
-
Try Different Cable or Adapter:
Sometimes, a faulty cable or adapter can cause connectivity issues. If the DrumLink Hub is still not recognized, try using a different USB-C cable or a different USB-A adapter if applicable. In this case, please do not use a USB cable that is designed only for charging a device. Charge-only cables cannot transmit data.
